Food & Beverage Labels
Custom labels for South African food and beverage businesses. Compliant with local regulations, durable through refrigeration and transport.
What the regulations require
Labelling for food products in South Africa is governed by R146 and R429. You need to include ingredient lists, nutritional information, allergen declarations, and manufacturer details. All of that has to stay readable through refrigeration, condensation, and handling. If your label peels off or fades in a cold room, you have a compliance problem.
What works well for food labels
Gloss paper laminate is the standard choice for bottled products. It handles moisture well and makes colours pop on shelf. Matte paper works better for artisanal and organic brands where you want a more natural feel. Clear labels are popular for glass packaging because they let the product show through. For frozen goods or products that go through temperature changes, we recommend white vinyl with permanent adhesive. It stays stuck in cold conditions and resists moisture.
Who uses us
We work with sauce and condiment producers, beverage manufacturers, artisanal food brands, and large scale food processors. Most come to us because they need consistent quality across large runs and labels that hold up through the supply chain.
